This is for those who love to study moon phases and how they work with our lives to enhance our spiritual growth pending what house the moon is in at that time.
Since time began we have been looking up at the sky for guidance. Then looking down at earth and being humbled to realize that which is the truth that we are heavenly and that we are heaven sent. We look to honor this amazing fact.
Tuesday, December 29, 2020, for those of us living on Hawaiian time at 5:30 pm we will be experiencing our full moon. The Hawaiian islands fall under the northern hemisphere. Yes, even though we are quite close to the equator. Times are not the same in other parts of the northern hemisphere.
Also for those living in the other hemispheres they will be experiencing theirs at different times of the day as well as on December 30, 2020, at different times of the day.
The full moon every month pending on where you are is called a different name. For example is if you are in the southern hemisphere at this time the seasons are the opposite of the northern hemisphere so the full moon in December is being looked at and being called a Strawberry moon, Honey moon, or even called Rose moon. In the Northern hemisphere in December it is called the Cold moon, The Oak moon or the Long Night’s moon.
What hemisphere we are living under plays apart in our life as we look to our seasons as our way of setting our body’s internal clock for healing.
The Full Moon gathers its momentum several days before and then hits its peak for only a split second then carries its momentum for several days after its peak. Knowing this we feel the effects as to what the moon is trying to help us experience to learn and grow with for over a week of time.
If you are like so many of us who enjoy our full moon you may want to take this time to reflect and think of what this full moon is reminding us to do. Full moons help us to reflect on our lives so far and to see if we are continuing on a pattern that which no longer is serving our inner happiness for our spiritual growth.
Tuesday, December 29, 2020, the full moon is in the house of Cancer. Cancer is very emotionally nurturing with family and spirituality.
Think about what old patterns that weren’t very nurturing for your spirit and or with your family that you would like to release and work at creating inner happiness that will last throughout your lifetime.
Rituals done to honor the full moon.
Not all need be done even if you just picked one and worked from there you would be doing yourself a world of good. I also encourage you to listen to your inner guidance when choosing which ritual.
Once you have chosen your ritual or rituals plan according to knowing that it is going to take some prep work due to the supplies that some may require. I highly recommend having these items prepped a day in advance so that you aren't running around last minute. (This is coming from a place of experience.)
The full moon in Cancer this holiday season is a perfect time. Some go to the beach and share a day with family giving thanks and praise with this being they're church. Some go to the forest and do their worshipping. However way you choose to honor your full moon in Cancer this December I wish you a merry one.
